[Research review] Dermoscopy of ‘COVID toes’

Have you heard of ‘COVID toes’? In this short video, Dr Vincenzo Piccolo discusses the recent phenomenon in which patients exposed to COVID-19 develop chilblain-like lesions on their toes.

In the video, Dr Piccolo describes the symptoms of COVID toes, which occurs in patients even when they have not been exposed to cool climates or had COVID-19 themselves, but rather had a close friend or family member with the disease.

Dr Piccolo looks at some real patient case studies and highlights the key features of COVID toes, including the dermoscopic characteristics for clinical diagnosis.
