In this short video, Prof David Wilkinson provides his top tips for effectively communicating with pathologists to achieve faster and more accurate results.

“Sometimes, it seems like we’re almost talking in a different language.”

Prof Wilkinson’s first tip is to try to stick to the same pathologist where possible, so that you can build a trusted connection and more effective communication with one person.

He also gives advice for what to include on the pathology form so the pathologist understands what you are providing and what you are asking for.
