Very interesting summary of CMN thank you. With regards to higher risk from bigger lesions- Is the risk of melanoma transformation directly proportional to the number of melanocytes or surface area of the lesion? Or is it exponential?

Hi Dr Hoy – posting Giuseppe’s response on his behalf: Nobody knows of course, but in my estimation we could assume the more the melanocytes the more the risk of melanoma transformation…
