International guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers are an important tool for medical practitioners in Australia who manage these conditions in their practice.
The guidelines on diagnosis and treatment of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) were released in September 2019 by the European Dermatology Forum, the European Association of Dermato-Oncology, and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer. You can view the guidelines here.
The guidelines on diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of cutaneous melanoma were released on 30 September 2019 by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). You can view the guidelines here.
